Presented by the Advertising Media Association of Southern Africa (AMASA) and endorsed by the Association of Advertising Agencies (AAA), Media Management promises to provide participants with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of media, their advantages and disadvantages of each media channel and ultimately provide students with the ability to develop a full media plan and strategy for a client or agency.
This course has been re-designed with the needs of the Ad industry in mind, and will be presented in two segments. The first segment focuses on the skills needed to be a basic Account Manager, while the second segmentfocuses on strategic planning. This addition is designed to equip the account manager with the knowledge to debate and contribute to the strategic planning process, an increasing job requirement. For those students who wish to enter the field of Account Management both segments of the course must be completed. People with experience in Account Management who wish to learn more about strategy, may opt to only do the 10 sessions on Strategic Planning.
